## The place
Greta's opened long ago as a bar for lesbians. After the 4th Corporate War, every small business in the city had to change or close, and Greta's turned into a pool hall. Over the last few years it has become *the* pool hall in Night City. The regulars at the bar are as loud and proud as they ever were.

The best players here aren't pros and nobody pays them a salary. They live off their bets. The house makes its money selling drinks to the crowd that gathers to watch. Watching a big game from the rail is easy. Picking up a cue is when it gets expensive.

## Order this
**The Sunk Pocket**, 20eb: cherry-infused vodka and cognac with whipped cream and a cherry on top. If you don't get the joke, ask whoever's standing next to you.

## Who you'll see
- **Hustlers and their audience.** When a game gets big, a crowd closes in around the table with money on every shot.
- **Jack Sawyer**: butch, sharp dresser, one of the best players in the house. Off the table she's a weaponsmith. Pool and guns are both good ways to start a conversation with her. She may not want one while she's lining up a shot.

## Things to do
- Rack up a game, or bet on someone else's.
- Spot the hustler before they take your eb.
- Buy a round and make some friends.
- Talk shop with Jack, if you can pull her away from the table.

## Starting a scene
You've come to Greta's with time for a drink and a game. Who brought whom? Who's bragging about their bank shot? Who wants to watch a few racks before putting money down? A bet can be a round of drinks, bragging rights or an embarrassing story.

Until the game starts, these scenes belong to the players. Make up the other patrons, the talk at the bar and the small details together. Keep the bets and the arguments personal, and treat anything new as provisional. Tonight your characters get to know each other. Not sure what's here or what your character would know? Ask the GM.
