# Short Circuit

*A Techs' bar where the walls are carbon-scored and the regulars can fix anything.*

|---|---|
| **What it is** | A Little Europe bar that's really a tech workshop co-op |
| **The drink** | The Code Freeze, 20eb: vodka and the Triti-Fizz flavor of the day, on ice |
| **The crowd** | Freelance Techs and Netrunners |
| **Who runs it** | Brain and his husband 3-Piece |
| **For rent** | Workshops with a techprinter and microfactory, 5eb an hour |

## The place
Short Circuit started out in 2020 as a bar in one of those revolving restaurants, and it went when the nuke went off. Brain and 3-Piece reopened it here in Little Europe for the freelance Techs who rebuild wrecks hauled out of the Hot Zone. People call it a Tech and Netrunner bar, and it is one, but most of the room is workbenches.

## The crowd
If you're technically minded and willing to swap tips and code, you'll get a warm welcome. Bring anything dangerous in, though, and you'll meet the bar's refurbished drones, plus a room full of regulars with homemade munitions who like this place. The scorch marks on the walls show how that usually goes.

## Brain and 3-Piece
**Brain** runs the benches and knows salvage better than anyone in the district. His husband **3-Piece** is a fixer who runs 3-Piece's Joint, a Night Market for hard-to-find tech on the top floor of the building. He also posts business advice on his Garden Patch, his public page on the Data Pool.

## For Netrunners
Trusted Netrunners get access to two NET Architectures here:
- **The Brain Bar**, a digital hangout.
- **The Gauntlet**, a Black ICE arena where regulars settle bets.

## Starting a scene
Rent a bench and work on something you pulled out of the Hot Zone, or come up for the Night Market looking for one particular part. Decide whether Brain has ever let you into the Brain Bar.
