# FIELD LOG: STATION ALPHA

**Date:** 2026-03-28
**Author:** Voss
**Classification:** Internal / Warder

**Subject:** Station update, personnel reappraisal, RF anomaly

**1. Station Modifications**

Kalipeda delivered and installed a semi-commercial espresso machine. Accompanying provisions: sealed Guatemalan roast beans, grinder, portafilter and tamp, assorted syrups (cinnamon, nutmeg), powdered milk (sealed, shelf-stable), vinegar for descaling, compostable waste bin and bags, mismatched ceramic cups. She also printed and delivered the machine's operating manual via a public library printer. She provided a full operational tutorial.

The station now contains items that are not mine. The operational environment has changed. I am recording this because I notice it and because I think it matters, though I could not write a data justification for why.

**2. Personnel Reappraisal: Kalipeda**

Previous assessment categorized Kalipeda as a reliable Cliath with good tactical instincts and physical capability. That assessment is incomplete.

When the RF anomaly triggered tonight, she reached for binoculars without being told. Wrong band, but correct instinct. She secured the open containers on the counter before anything else. She did not ask if she should be worried. She assessed and acted. These are not Cliath-typical responses. These are the responses of someone who has been tested before and learned from it.

Revised assessment: Kalipeda is not a reliable Cliath. She is a reliable Garou.

**3. RF Anomaly: Northeast Quadrant**

At approximately 21:45 local time, the analog sweep registered a cluster of three anomalies in the northeast quadrant. Characteristics: short burst, nonrepeating, off-cycle by approximately three seconds. The cluster lasted less than ten seconds and did not recur during subsequent monitoring cycles.

Insufficient data to characterize. Possible explanations include atmospheric interference (dry conditions and high wind are consistent with RF scatter), wildlife movement through a sensor shadow, equipment drift on a peripheral node, or something else.

The northeast quadrant includes the ridgeline Simon is currently surveying for storm exposure sites. Correlation with his assignment is premature but logged.

Analysis of recorded sweep data is scheduled for morning. If the anomaly recurs, I will deploy a directional antenna for triangulation.

**4. General Notes**

Conditions: 48F, scattered cloud, waxing gibbous (Galliard moon), steady wind, dry. Fire risk elevated.

The station smells like coffee and nutmeg instead of solder. The view from the windows is better than I gave it credit for. Neither of these observations belongs in a field log. I am including them anyway.
