Rage
Rage is the primal fury of the Garou, the fire that drives them in battle and fuels the war against the Wyrm. This page covers how Rage is spent in play and how frenzy works.

Spending Rage
Extra Actions
Spend 1 Rage to gain 1 extra action that turn. Must be declared at the beginning of the turn.
Limits:
- Maximum extra actions per turn = half permanent Rage score, rounded up (e.g., Rage 5 โ max 3 extra actions)
- Extra actions cannot exceed the lower of Dexterity or Wits. Exceeding that limit adds +3 to all difficulties that turn
- In frenzy, the limit is Dexterity only, Wits is irrelevant
Change Form
Spend 1 Rage to immediately shift into any of the five Garou forms. No roll required. Can be declared at any point in the turn.
Ignore Stunning
Spend 1 Rage to ignore a stun result and act normally that turn.
Ignore Pain
Spend 1 Rage to ignore the dice penalty from one health level of damage for one turn. Does not heal the damage. One Rage point per health level, per turn.

Frenzy
When a Garou rolls Rage for any reason, activating a Gift, responding to pain, anger, or provocation, they risk entering frenzy. See W20 p.261 for the types of frenzy.
Each Rage roll is independent. Results do not accumulate toward frenzy.
Breaking Out of Frenzy
A character in frenzy may spend 1 Willpower per turn to gain one turn of control and make a Willpower roll (difficulty 6, using permanent Willpower). Successes accumulate across turns until they equal the successes that triggered frenzy.
If a Willpower roll botches, the character loses the ability to spend Willpower or roll to break free. They must be restrained or incapacitated.
A character with zero temporary Willpower cannot spend or roll, they have no will to resist.
Wyrm Thrall Frenzy
During a Wyrm Thrall frenzy, the character cannot spend Willpower or roll to regain control at all. They are entirely at the mercy of their monstrous nature and must be restrained or incapacitated.
Rank and Frenzy
Higher-ranked Garou are harder to push into frenzy.
